James Chelnis, MD is a passionate award-winning aesthetic surgeon who uses his unique expertise in bringing out your best. Dr. Chelnis has been recognized as a Top 10 Best Plastic Surgeon, by Super Doctors Rising Stars, and Top Doctors as seen in New York Times, TopDoctors.com, and by several national societies in plastic surgery. He is an internationally recognized speaker and teacher in aesthetics and plastic surgery, having presented from Sydney to Osaka.

One of his most fulfilling awards has been recognition for exemplary teaching, most recently by New York Eye & Ear of Mount Sinai. Dr. Chelnis has a proud history of being an educator locally, such as NYU, Mount Sinai, and NY Eye and Ear, as well as Vanderbilt University and other esteemed academic institutions and national conferences. He was the lead editor of YO Info, publishing monthly to over 7000 young physicians across the country and globe focused on education and early career development for other physicians.

Jeffrey Schiller, MD, is an alumnus of Yale University and a graduate of the Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School. He trained in oculoplastic and facial plastic surgery in New York City and Paris . He is board certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) , an elite society of 500 members specializing in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids and face. Admission to ASOPRS is strictly limited to physicians with specialized training in oculofacial plastic surgery, and who meet these criteria: extensive surgical experience, high scores in rigorous testing dealing with all aspects of diagnosis and treatment, and a significant academic contribution to the field.

In practice since 1990, he has performed over 10,000 eyelid and facial cosmetic and reconstructive operations with a focus on cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids, lacrimal system, orbital region, and face. Dr. Schiller uses the most advanced laser and endoscopic techniques to correct the changes of aging, and to perform reconstructive surgery for injuries and cancer. Dr. Schillers unique lower eyelidand cheeklift procedure has been recognized as an important advance in facial cosmetic surgery, and the technique was recently featured as the cover article in the leading plastic surgery journal, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Schiller has taught advanced eye surgery in ten countries in Africa, Asia, and South America as part of ORBIS International, an international surgical teaching program based on a DC-10 aircraft. Dr. Schiller is Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, where he is involved in training graduate surgeons in ophthalmic plastic surgery. He frequently lectures and presents new techniques at local and international cosmetic surgery and oculoplastic surgery conferences.

Dr. Schiller has offices in New York City (Manhattan and Staten Island), Edison NJ and West Orange, NJ. Cosmetic surgery is performed in our state-of-the-art office surgical suite at the West Orange location, as well as at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and at a number of other outpatient surgical facilities.

Dr. Schiller speaks six languages (including Spanish, French, Portugese, Italian and Thai). His hobbies include a love of world travel and photography.
